Such discoveries
may not be understood by the people of ordinary calibre, but almost
all the advanced scientists of the world admit that nature is
ruling in the most justifiable manner without the slightest discrepancy
or fallacy on Her part. The wonderful art and archtecture, system
and order, mechanism and force, mathematics and economcal and
like are apparent features to corroborate Her potentiality, and
puntuality, and regularity too. Hence we have to admit without
hesitation, Newton's law, namely, that the reaction of any action
is equal and opposite. Then our action of killing will never leave
us without being killed as a reaction.
To make this
point more clear, let me tell you that it is psychology and psychology
alone of the human heart which prompts men to become cruel at
the time of killing an animal At that time, he generally becomes
merciless and inhuman with sentiments of hatred. Sentiments of
hatred are generated in his heart of selfishness and lust for
carnal pleasures, because of his violence thoughts to slaughter
an animal. And hatred itself is a fire. It is the nature of fire
to burn that object first from where it starts. So also the fire
of hatred first burns our heart and then other people of the locality
whosoever comes within its sphere.
Secondly,
when living beings are tortured brutally they are terribly frightened
and the feelings of vengeance fill their hearts Their dumb souls
are cursing the murderers and they want to return the same brutal
treatment to the perpetrators of cruelty on them. but being helpless,
they have to keep quiet and tolerate the atrocious treatment of
the killer. So when they breathe their last under such horrible
conditions, the intense feelings of anger, fear and cowardice
are injected in their own flesh and blood. Our daily menu contains
the so-called vitamins. Consequently every particle of such food
goes into our body and creates the same intense feelings and sentiments
of hatred which are mostly prevalent today among mankind. The
peace of the people could be shattered to pieces by thish sugar-coated
poison of flesh and meat food. Without proper understanding of
the universal law of compassion and brotherhood, we hanker after
unfruitful sources for solving the problems of peace. We spend
millions of dollars and rupees for ensuring peace which cannot
bring beneficial results in consequence of our failure to find
out the root cause for the chaos and disease prevailing in a human
society. Our efforts are something like cutting poisonous tree
in to pieces and preserve its seeds for replantation of several
other trees. Without uprooting the evil of slaughtering and butchering
of our co-existing brethern living in the various kingdoms of
life, our endeavours and efforts for peace would be something
like digging a grave for ourselves thereby proving the adage of
being penny wise and pound foolish.
