Shapely tips and toes are an essential part of beauty and good grooming.
They say a great deal about you to others. Regardless of their shape and
size, its is possible to keep them looking beautiful all the time. All
you need is a little time to make a noticeable improvement in their appearances
and condition.
TIPS
TO KEEP YOUR TIPS AND TOES EVER FRESH.
Start Clean. Remove any traces of nail enamel with remover.
Trim excess nail with a nail clip. Refine shape with an emery file with
gentle even strokes in one direction from each side of the nail to the
centre, keeping side of the nail straight.
Soak fingers in warm soapy water to which a little glycerine has been
added, for five minutes to make skin soft and pliable.
Push back cuticle with a manicure stick. Clip of any excess cuticle with
care using a small manicure scissor.
Cleanse nails in warm soapy water.
Dry with soft towel.
For soft and smooth hands massage with a good hand and body lotion. The
same procedure applies to feet as well. To smooth callouses and rough
skin, scrub your feet gently especially with a pumice stone.
COLOUR
YOUR NAILS :
The first stroke of polish should be applied down the centre of the nail
from the cuticle to the tip.
The second stroke should be applied to one side of the nail again from
the cuticle to the tip. Cover the side of the nail perfectly unless you
have decided to leave a slight gap to make the overall
shape look narrower.
Apply 2-3 coats if necessary, applying each coat after it's dried.
HANDY
HINTS :
Soak
fingers for 10 minutes in warm olive or mustard oil every week to remove
dryness and condition nails.
Clean nail tips from inside with cotton soaked with soapy water.
Stained nails are caused by continuos use of nail polish especially dark
shades. Leave nails free of nail polish for 1-2 days before reapplying.
Begin a diet, high in proteins and vitamins which is essential for healthy
nails. Consume plenty of curds, pulses, vegetables and fruits.
