Every child is unique and it is important that their potential is
harnessed early, more so in the case of a 'Challenged Child', in
order to foster an increased level of confidence, skills and hope
for the future and in-turn empower the parents and the society to
participate and encourage their development.
Saturday Stage is a hub that enables such children to weave a fine
tapestry of life and sensitizes people about the hidden potential of
the under privileged. In the process, Saturday Stage believes that
it can impart its voice to the disadvantaged, which will enable them
to perform and speak for themselves.
Saturday Stage, in association with The Chrysallis Performance Arts
Center, presents “LOVE- A Constant Journey” on World Disability Day.
Mentally and physically challenged children from three
organizations, Ashraya, Kutumba and Vatsalya perform in it.
Diana Tholoor, founder of the Chrysallis Performance Arts Center for
the Physically and Mentally Disabled, will direct the Play.
The play will be staged at Gurunanak Bhavan on Wednesday, 3rd
December 2003. The proceeds of the play will be shared equally by
the three organizations and utilized by them for education and most
importantly, medical care of the children.
