METHOD

1. Soak 1/2 cup urad dal for about two hours and make a fine paste.
2. Heat oil in a pan add one table spoon urad dal and gram dal, green chillies, when dals become light brown add mustard, curry leaves, cashewnuts, groundnuts green chillies and rava and fry for 10-15 minutes. Take down from fire keep aside.
3. Mix dal paste, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, soda, salt and rava mixture and make a thick paste. Keep aside for 4-5 hours.
4. Cook the rava idli in the idli cooker.
5. Serve hot with chutney.
