During Rahukala no good or auspicious work is undertaken. In the southern part of India people have more belief in it. The period
that rahukala falls in a day varies from day to day basis. Sometimes it is in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes in the evening. This happens after sunrise and before sunset. Any work undertaken during
rahukala does not fetch the desired results or rather does not fetch results. If in spite of all hard work put by a person,he does not get satisfactory results it leads to dissatisfaction / depression.
What ever
work that has been started before, one need not worry about the works that has been started before rahukala. Rahukala is 1/8th part of a day.
