Green Chillies, chopped fine Asafoetida powder Onions chopped fine Corriander a bunch Salt Water
1/2 cup 1/2 cup 1/2 cup 1/4 cup 4-5 1/2 Teaspoon 2 1
to taste as required
METHOD
1. Mix all the ingredients together. Add suficient water to make it a
stiff batter. 2. Heat the oil. Take a ladleful of batter and place it on the palm of the left hand. Flatten the batter with the wet right hand. Make a hole in the center. Slip gently into the oil.
3. Fry till golden brown and crisp. 4. Drain on a sheet of brown paper. 5. Serve hot with
coconut chutney.
