MUTTER SHUFTA

INGREDIENTS

Green peas
Ghee for frying
Cummin seeds
Chilli powder
Mava
Curd
Coriander seeds( powdered )
Salt to taste
Cardamom capsules
Saffron
Garam masala powder
A few coriander leaves

METHOD

1.Shell the green peas, cook, drain and keep aside.
2.Chop the coriander leaves and keep aside.
3.Heat ghee in a frying pan and add cummin seeds, chilli powder, mava and curd.
4.Fry on a slow fire until the ingredients turn brown, this should take about 15 minutes.
5.Add peas, coriander seeds powder and salt to taste and mix well.
6.Also add crushed cardamoms, saffron, garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
7.Mix well, cover the pan, heat thro', remove from fire and serve hot.
