Milk Long grained Rice Sugar Cardomoms Crushed Saffron
3 Litres 1/4 Cup 1/2 Cup 6-8 No 1 teaspoon
METHOD
1. Boil the milk and the rice in a heavy bottomed vessel
2. Keep stirring till the milk reduces to half its quantity. 3. Add the sugar and the crushed cardamom. 4. Dissolve the saffron in half a cup warm milk and add to the payasam. 5. Serve hot.
