The Max Muller Bhavan on Lavelle Road founded in 1960, in addition to German Language courses does commendable work in organising programs in dance, theatre,
music, art, cinema and exhibitions. The MMB annually brings German artists to Bangalore and in general promotes the exchange of ideas and learning.

Karnataka at Malleswaram was founded in 1967 freedom fighter and luminary in field of handicrafts and handlooms - Kamala Chattopadhyaya to revive languishing crafts of Karnataka. The council holds
exhibitions, workshops, lecture demonstrations etc.
The Ken School Of Arts
The Ken School Of Arts which has produced artists of national fame was established by renowned artist R.M.Hadapad. Its
ideology of linking art to the comman man, following a broadbased means of education in art sets it apart from the rest. It offers a five year diploma course in painting and art education besides which it
also has appreciation courses, workshops in graphics, painting, Hindustani music, psychology and interrelated subject lectures. An excellent library on art, Indian culture and graphics is another of its
attractions.

violin this hall which was completed in 1980, acts as a highly functional cultural center. It is equipped with modern equipment in suond with state-of-the art mixing consoles, echo units, sonic maximisers,
amplifiers and speakers.
