HERE ARE A FEW TIPS ON THE RIGHT APPLICATION OF THE BASIC FOUNDATION

Always blend foundation with a damp sponge-it will never look cakey/patchy or white.

If it still looks the same then change your foundation to complement your skin tone as you've been using the wrong foundation.

Foundation evens out your skin tone & highlights the make-up used on your face, thus bringing more colour to your face.

If you see carefully our models face is freckled & pigmented, so the foundation was a must to make a base for the make-up.

If you are blessed with flawless skin, or are a totally anti foundation/anti make-up freak you needn't worry coz you could go in for the nude/no make-up look Just dab some translucent powder for the base, two coats of mascara, a nude or a very light lipstick outlined with a natural coloured lipliner & a very little colour to the cheeks-voila!
