Children Rights Day Celebrated at the Bal Bhawan under the department of Child Welfare and Dir Bal Bhawan, with contribution form Canara Bank and Jain Milan. Jain Milan was represented by its President Mr. Kaur Raj Jain, Canara Bank by Mr. Gokul Das, General Manager Head Office. Mr. Subhas Sasodia, social worker and philanthropist declared that he would pay for One government school and also bequeth awards for five children with a cash award of Rs. 5000/- each. The programme was presided by Smt. Motanuma, Minister for Child Welfare. Over 1000 students from different slums were the beneficiaries of notebooks, tiffin boxes and gifts for the winner of sports activities . The Children also performed cultural programme.
